Some of these books are written by authors whom I love and trust, while others are fairly unknown to me, besides what I've heard about them from other people. Have you read any of these books on the list? If so, what did you think of them? They're all supposed to be YA fiction, but if you've read them and there was some questionable material in them, please let me know!
#1- DragonwitchAnne Elisabeth Stengl
This book offically releases July 1st, and I cannot wait to read it! It is the fifth installment in The Tales of Goldstone Wood, my favorite books ever!

#2- Aire
Lina Goldfinch
I just discovered this book over on the blog of a young Christian lady, and the cover, title, and summary absolutely intrigued me. It has a person who shape-shifts into a falcon! And I just came up with that a couple of weeks ago! Augh! It's a love story, and I'm not keen on plain romance, but this novel sounds like it has an epic quality that begs not to be missed.

#3- The RynSerena Chase
This is a fairytale retelling of Snow White and Rose Red that has been championed over on a blog I follow, and the summary has caught my attention. Furthermore, it's the beginning of a series. I'm always on the lookout for epic fantasies.

#4- A Cast of StonesPatrick W. Carr
Mr. Carr is one of the newest voices in speculative Christain fantasy, and I've heard nothing but great things about his writing and his characters. Will this story have a Byzantine flavor (judging from the cover), I wonder? I fell in love with that setting in Megan Whalen Turner's novels. Learn more about A Cast of Stones on Amazon.com
#5- Cinder
Marissa Meyer
This is the most original retelling of Cinderella I've ever heard about. The setting is the future in New Bejjing. And there's a lunar queen trying to take over Prince Kai's kingdom. And Cinderella? Oh yeah, she's a cyborg. A what? When I read this I just thought "robot", but then I remebered cyborgs are real people with mechanical parts, usually because of an accident. So I'm intrigued.

#6- Prophet
R.J. Lawson
This is a very interesting sounding start to a Christian Fantasy series loosely based off the the time period and events of the Old Testment during the prophets and the kings. Doesn't that sound awesome?

#7- The Errant KingWayne Thomas Batson
I really enjoy the writing of Mr. Batson, and one of his newest series has caught my eye. This book is the second installment in The Dark Sea Annuals so I'll defintely be reading the first, but the summary of this one has the most promise.
Check it out on Amazon.com
#8- Replication: The Jason Experiment
Jill Williamson
I haven't read any of Ms. Williamson's works yet, but the plot of this one is fascinating. A young woman discovers her father is involved at a cloning facility when she meets a young clone escapee.

#9- The Unraveling of WentwaterC.S. Lakin
I've been seeing several of these books unveil in The Gates of Heaven Series, but this one has really grabbed my attention with its boggling premise in an unexpected twist of Sleeping Beauty.

# 10- Corus the ChampionD. Barkley Briggs
Yes, I know, it's Book 2 in The Legends of Karac Tor. I wasn't sure if I would like the series or not when the first book came out, because I don't always enjoy it when modern kids clash with an ancient world. That, and I got a bit tired of all the spinoffs of the legend of King Arthur. But this summary intrigued me, and I want to give the series a shot.

Great list, Hannah! I've read Aire, The Ryn, Cinder, Prophet, and Replication, and all are great books. :) (Prophet's probably my least favorite of those, but I'm more of a romance fan than a straight-out fantasy fan, so maybe you'll like it more!)
The sequel to Cinder (Scarlet) is a lot more violent than the first, just as a heads up if you were planning on reading the whole series. That one is probably the most intense of the ones you've listed that I've read.
And I'm looking forward to reading Dragonwitch, too! :)

Thank you, Amber! I actually first heard of Aire and the Ryn over at your lovely blog! I'm glad to hear you like the others too!
I haven't heard of most of these books, but I have been eyeing Prophet, A Cast of Stones, and, of course, Dragonwitch, which I just got off Netgalley, so I'm really excited to dig into it! :)
GAH! Well, enjoy Dragonwitch! I'm drooling with anticipation for it!
Cool! I want to read 'Cinder'!
'Prophet', by the way, is an amazing book. It's well written, interesting plot, but I - personally - I really dislike how it ends for the protagonist. That's just me, though.
I definitely am looking forward to both those books. Actually, 'Prophet's sequel, 'Judge' has me even more intrigued then the first one.
'Cinder' is the first book in the 'Luner Chronicles', and the second is called 'Scarlet'. I hear that 'Scarlet' is much more violent then the first, so we'll see what I think. I've also heard that the upcoming books in the series are called, 'Cress' and 'Winter'. Aren't those just gorgeous titles???
I recently found out about those as well. I guess each book has a new fairy tale character added to the cast and Scarlet is Little Red Riding Hood. I read Cinder and highly recommend it. Scarlet is sitting on my shelf, waiting...
Thank you! I saw your review on Cinder, and I really appreciated it!
