Dragonwitch Sneak Peak!!!

WOO HOO! So the sneak peak for Dragonwitch, book 6 in the Tales of Goldstone Wood (for which I can barely wait) was just released on Anne Elisabeth Stengl's site today! It is a very mysterious scene. Go over and take a look HERE. Who do you think this Scrubber is? Is there anything you cannot wait to discover in Dragonwitch? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Your illustration was lovely, Hannah! And I have no idea who the Scrubber is, though I'm excited to find out... What I'm really looking forward to is how Anne Elisabeth handles the arranged marriage situation and our heroine's reaction to it. I've always been intrigued by the intricacies of human interaction and such found in such arrangements, and have flirted with the idea of writing a fantasy novel in which the two protagonists' marriage was arranged by political circumstances and all the consequences found therein.

That, and I'm very much looking forward to the inclusion of nursery rhymes in the puzzle. It makes it so much more eerie and intriguing....

Did you notice that the Scrubber heard the dream? That he saw it? This leads me to believe that he is not quite what he appears.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the story with the arranged marriage, though I'm not convinced it will go through. But I also have explored the possibilities of such a thing in a book.

And the nursery rhymes...very cool!

I love mysterious characters that end up surprising you...I was wondering about what was going on there.

I sort of hope it does go through, simply to see how Leta handles it. She seems like a character that I will either adore or want to shake; I'm so excited to read her story!
