Well, my dear readers, my spring term at Master's School of art is nearly over....and I am finished with my project in digital painting...
....which happened to be a new cover concept for Moonscript. Mind you, this is a cover JUST for my own enjoyment, it's NOT the cover reveal of a book soon to be published, as Moonscript still has a while to go before ready for that.
But I hope you all enjoy it! And you can check out the Moonscript page to see the pretty new banner as well, which includes Errance in closer detail. :)

Looks nice, Hannah! I looked at the banner on the Moonscript page, and have decided that Errance is my favorite part of the cover (even if he's small on the ACTUAL cover).
Congrats on being almost done!
This cover is absolutely gorgeous, Hannah! I love how beautifully you're able to portray light in all of your digital drawings.
That
Is
Amazing!
Thanks for sharing; I truly enjoy all the art you do- and if it is Moonscript related it's twice as awesome!
Thank you, all!
@Sarah: I'm in the second draft, but there is a LONG way to go.
Love your cover!
Jemma
Oooh! Very nice! I love it. Are you sure this shouldn't be the actual cover? ;D
(By the way... Errance is really cute.)
Thanks, Emmarayn! If I am every able to create my own cover, it would probably be along the lines of this one...but most traditional publishers don't let you make your own cover.
And yes...Errance...he IS rather handsome.
Ooh, my favorite part in this stunning drawing has to be the stream. I love the reflection!
You have such a talent, Hannah. :)
Oh, wow, Hannah!! WOW!!! You've come a long way since the first "cover" you drew for Moonscript! This is amazing!!
Thank you, Katie! I was quite happy with the water too!
Christa!!! So wonderful to hear from you! Thank you so much. Yeah, the difference is quite huge (though the idea has stayed fairly the same).
