Snow and Fun!

I'm so happy, dear readers!!! It's SNOWING! For some of you, I'm sure that's fairly common and perhaps dull, but for me, who does not get nearly enough snow, it's nothing less than fantastic! Also, despite having some History and Algebra 2 to do, today looks like a fun day to spend with my brother who can't go into college because of the snow!
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

I'm also really in a good mood, because just yesterday, my family and I watched the ultimate climax in Book Three of Avatar: The Last Airbender for the first time. EPIC. I was practically in tears at a couple points. I'm crazy, crazy, crazy about it. Zuko is absolutely awesome. Actually, they all are. =D

If you're looking for something fun to read, go to Dame Imraldera's Library for a new short and charming fan fiction called Imraldera Cleans House. It's adorable, and you should really read it. Find it HERE.

And I'm sure most of you know this already, but just in case you missed it, check out the awesome read-along going over at Anne Elisabeth's blog as she gives us insight into her novel, Veiled Rose!

Have you had snow yet, dear readers? Doing anything fun this weekend?

Here in balmy North Carolina, it was 70 degrees yesterday, but we are looking forward to some lovely freezing rain over the weekend. YOU'RE LUCKY. :'(

Snow? What's that? Is it that white fluffy stuff you read about in books? :D

Here in mid-Texas, it hasn't snowed for years. And yet it's 34* right now, and it froze last night. The weatherman said we would have frozen rain, but that never came. All day we prayed that it would snow. :) But it never did. :'(

Ooh, snow! Lucky you! I'm hoping for a white Christmas this year . . . we'll see how that goes.

AWW...I'm so sad you girls haven't had snow. At the same time, I mostly appreciate it for the scenic view. Today, my family and I went to get our Christmas tree and it was miserably COLD! Brrr!

Love, love snow but don't experience it very often unfortunately. This autumn has been the c oldest I've remembered in a while, so perhaps we'll get some this winter. I love how tranquil everything is during snowfall and the crunching sound it makes as you walk through it. I know your Christmas tree is beautiful. Did you have time to get some hot chocolate? Nothing like it after being outside in the snow.

Ah, I love the crunchy sound of snow too! The Christmas tree farm had some hot cider that was heavenly in the cold. :)
