Well, life has been pretty busy for me as of late! My days are just packed with schoolwork, writing, art, reading, and animal care.
Just this September, my family and I took a vacation through our beautiful state of Oregon. We went to Joseph where we hiked, pigged out at a chocolate/coffee shop (which had the most
heavenly white hot chocolate), watched a thunderstorm, and fished. Then we went to John Day where we saw a few fossil bed sites and a Chinese historical site. Finally, we camped at Clear Lake, taking a beautiful hike by the lake.
It was a wonderful time. I thought I'd share some of the beautiful areas I saw. They truly are fodder for the imagination!

Beautiful.
We have one desert in my area, but no painted hills.
I am constantly amazed at the beauty of creation.
Yes, I was surprised to know that there were painted hills in Oregon. They're so surreal.
Mmmm.... White hot chocolate- sounds tasty! :-D
The lake picture is pretty, and it has a lovely name.
Thanks for sharing the pictures, Hannah. It can be such fun to get away from our normal, everyday lives.
Oh YES, the white hot chocolate was SO amazing. I've never had anything like it, but I became an instant fan. Everything at that shop was homemade. Your spoon got dipped in the melted chocolate every time you ordered a drink. 0_0
Clear Lake certainly deserves its name. You can see trees standing upright underneath the water all the way down to the bottom. The lake was a volcanic creation.
White hot chocolate... I shall have to investigate. Hope you had a great time!
Indeed. I should investigate as well and see if some of the coffee shops around here can make it.
Thank you! We had a fabulous time!
Sounds like you had fun, and those pictures are gorgeous.
I am in complete agreement with Sarah - those pictures are gorgeous! :)
I went to college in Oregon, and I absolutely love the state. (I'm a Northern Cali girl, but we're pretty close to Oregon!)
Thanks for sharing! And I totally hear ya about being incredibly busy...

P.S. Thank you so much for including the Forget Me Not button in your sidebar! *Hugs*
Gorgeous, as always.
And the picture 'Eagle Cap Wilderness' was snagged right from one of my stories!
