Book Anticipation!!!

I am really, really, really looking forward to a book. I'm not sure if you, reader, have heard of this series (looking at the list of my followers, I'm sure you have), but there is an incredibly awesome book series called The Tales of Goldstone Wood.

And Book 6 is coming out in July!!! Or June if you happen to get it early. Take a look at this stunning cover!

You think this looks great? Quick, if you haven't already, go over to Anne Elisabeth Stengl's Dragonwitch Blog! And be sure you check out her amazing artwork and tantalizing sneak peaks here!

If you have read Book 4, Starflower, you're even more enthused about Dragonwitch, because it continues the story of the terrifically evil and tragic Hri Sora.

So for those of you who are waiting like crazy for this book, I'd like to gush with you. I'm simply dying to know the complete story of Etanun and Akilun!!! What happens to Etanun at the end of the book? Why does Mouse know Etanun's name? And what part will Eanrin play???

What are some things you can't wait to find out? What's your opinion of the Dragonwitch? Did you find yourself sympathizing with her in Starflower? Do you think that sympathy will continue in this book? This is the time to gush. Gush all you want.

I'm excited to see more Eanrin-Imraldera interaction, to see how they got from being who they were in Starflower to how we see them together in Moonblood--what happened to distance them so much?

As well, I'm really interested into digging deeper into Hri Sora's story. I found her intriguing in Starflower, though I didn't necessarily sympathize. Can't wait for this book--my dad's currently reading the series, and he bought me a paperback of Heartless to complete my collection (which I'm planning on rereading when I go home for Easter! :D), so hopefully we can look forward to Dragonwitch together! It's pretty rare that my dad's taste in books and mine align, so that'd be pretty awesome. :D

I just need to get ahold of the other books first. ;) But it looks amazing!

I know, it is so mysterious that Eanrin and Imraldera have back-pedaled in their relationship in the 1,600 years between Starflower and Moonblood. I'm not sure we'll get the answer to this mystery in Dragonwitch, though. Their distance seems to be connected to the loss of Eanrin's eyes, which is of course connected to someone who is not even born yet in Dragonwitch...as far as I know.

I felt a little sorry for Hri Sora. Then there were times I didn't feel sorry at all. She treats her kids awful, and she is so bent on revenge. Twas a very interesting revelation about her and Etanun...such an interesting twist of the tale of the knight and the dragon.

I'm so glad your dad's enjoying the books! My mom adores them along with me, and I am now reading them aloud to my brother and Grammie!

They should be coming to our library soon! SOON!(I hope.)

I'd let you borrow my copy of Veiled Rose, but I'm in the middle of reading it to my family!

Oohh, that's a good point. Maybe it's a bit of both. Perhaps they started becoming distant over the years, and then Eanrin's eye-loss capped it all off?

I love dragons--I'm so glad I found this series. Have you ever seen Flight of Dragons? It's a really old cartoon movie, but I absolutely adored it as a child.

Aww, that's awesome! The best thing about good books is sharing them with others and sharing the excitement of waiting for a new one to come out.
