I'm thankful for all of you who still drop by my blog even though I have been dreadfully absent as of late! You are all so sweet and supporting!
Now....let's see. What five books of this year am I most thankful to have read? :)
Draven's Light by Anne Elisabeth Stengl--Again, my favorite author delivers! And a brother and sister story too! It doesn't matter that this is a novella, it brings all the beauty and tears and feels!
Burdney by Nicole Sager--Hardly anybody knows about this author, but her most recent books, Hebbros and Burdney are fantastic!!! :D
A Wish Made of Glass by Ashlee Willis--This Cinderella story is absolutely heart-wrenching, real, and mesmerizing! Truly a beautiful read!
The Wulver's Rose by Hayden Wand--Sweetest retelling of Beauty and the Beast ever!
Winter by Marissa Meyer--Okay, so I'm not thankful for all of the content in this book and series, but this was nevertheless a very gripping story and a very satisfying conclusion!

I've only read Wulver's Rose, but I've wanted to read all of those other ones. Hopefully, I can get around to reading them by next Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving, Hannah!
That's a great painting (you've taught me to finally appreciate onions)!
I'd love to read most of the books listed here, Draven's Light especially! It's a pity that my library is slow to stock, and that I'm such 'miser'.
Does this book sale ship outside the U.S.A? I couldn't find much information on that.
Happy belated Thanksgiving, Hannah. I'm so glad to hear that you're doing well.
The books I'm most thankful to have read thus far this year are:
1. Bone Gap, by Laura Ruby. Very beautiful story. I definitely disagree with some of the choices made by some of the characters, but the themes and writing style blew me away. It's a frightening and triumphant story that I'll never forget. Be warned that it deals with some dark issues.
2. Draven's Light, by Anne Elisabeth Stengl.
3. The Thing about Jellyfish, by Ali Benjamin. Heartwrenching and very sweet story about grief. Again, I don't agree with everything in the book, but the main protagonist is precious, and my heart went out to her.
4. Fish in a Tree, by Lynn Mullaly Hunt. Wonderful book that was very relatable to me as I am an educator.
5. Echo, by Pam Munoz Ryan. A broad book with entwining stories that are linked by music. As I love any book that contains music as a theme, I was instantly drawn in.
6. Circus Mirandus, by Cassie Beasley. Enchanting and made me laugh and cry.
7. The Wulver's Rose, by Hayden Wand. I've read and reread this one many times this year. It's the best retelling of Beauty and the Beast I've ever read.
Thanks for the article and helpful links. God bless you.
Happy (Late) Thanksgiving, Hannah! :D
Speaking of late things, I finally answered that Sisterhood of the World Bloggers award you gave me! :) Sorry it took so long. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! Thanks for tagging me.

I've only read the last two books on your list. Sadness. :(
Moving on to the current holiday, though . . . I tagged you with the Christmas Tag! If you don't have time to do it this year, or you don't want to do it, that's fine. (I'll also be fine if you just save it for next year . . .) But I thought it would be fun to see your answers. http://dreams-dragons.blogspot.com/2015/12/christmas-tag.html
