I hope you all have been having a wonderful July so far, dear readers! I've looked at my blog schedule and it appears it will be fairly quiet on here for the month.
I'm finishing up some classes (Algebra 2 in July is not as bad as it sounds) and have also been working on short stories for Five Enchanted Roses and the Fan Fiction Contest for Tales of Goldstone Wood!
Have a great summer! It's been pretty warm around here and I hope you're all staying cool! Any special plans, writing or otherwise?

I'm working on sleepover plans that I'm hosting at my church for a group of girls as well as a surprise bday gift for one of my best friend's! :)
I've been extremely busy with writing this month! :) I'm working on entries for four different contests, two of which the deadline is end of this month. I finished the first draft of my entry for Five Enchanted Roses three to four weeks ago and I was surprised to be 5,000 words under the limit! Last year I was 5,000 OVER the limit, which posed some difficulties. :P So I've been having fun with that. Finally, I think I'm going to try my hand at the Goldstone Wood Fan Fiction. Never written fan fiction before, and the idea I have for it will require extensive Goldstone research. :P
So yeah! :) That's my writing update!
How wonderful, Laura!
That's some extreme writing, Anna! Great job! And extensive Goldstone research is always good! :D
Okay, lets see.....
School, I'm home schooled so that means school throughout the summer and the whole year. And I am hoping violin lessons will come around (because I'm dying to learn), maybe take a try at voice lessons, re-read heartless, mow the lawn, finish my book (17 chapters out of 30 ahhh!) And most importantly, lessons from God on how to honor him as a new Christian throughout the summer. :)
That's what I've been doing or going to do.
I love that picture! Is that path near your house? Lucky girl!
I've just finished one story for the TGW fan-fiction contest, which my sister says is hillarious, but I'm not sure. I still have one other fan fiction, and two stories for Five Enchanted Roses I'm working on.
I'm doing Algebra over the summer too. Agony ... Agony. ;)
Out of curiosity, are you home-schooled, Hannah?
I understand that, Gracie! Oo, what cool ideas for the future! I'll pray for blessings on that!
Thanks, Beckah! Well, its a few hours away on a mountain that we hike during the summer. So not THAT close.
I can't wait to read your fanfic!
And yes, I am home-schooled! :D
I'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo this month; my challenge is four weeks, four projects, ten thousand words in each project. I finished my first week a few days ago, obviously, and now I'm on my second week. This is going to be a long one, as I'm having trouble getting into the project. >.< But next week is Goldstone Wood fanfiction and I can hardly wait. :D
On a non-writing-related note, my grandpa's visiting and I'm reading the Mistborn trilogy. So much awesome! :D
Writing! Writing writing writing!! Can't talk; must get back to Microsoft Word! (Also music. But that's a different story.)
