Happy Friday Eve, everyone! (Yes, Friday is very important in my family.)
I thought I'd share the links to two writing articles that I found particularly insightful and helpful.
1. Is your villain feeling rather shallow and blah? Head over to Gillian Adams blog where her oh-so-helpful Spy has recently escaped from the Villain's prison and now gives us a thoughtful look into their inner-selves.

2. Are you struggling with an overload of drop-dead gorgeous characters in your book? Read Amy Green's article and rethink the meaning of beauty.

Enjoy these writer's wonderful posts! And have a wonderful weekend!

Friday nights are family nights/movie nights/home made pizza nights around my house! What do you and your family do?
I'll have to check out those articles! They sounds very helpful!
Yep, Friday nights for me consist of family night/movie night/often pizza night. And when the movie is over, my brother and I go over to Grammie's house, and I read aloud a book (currently Starflower) to them. After that my brother and I stay up to 11:30 playing video games. It's very fun. =)
Two great links! And "Yeah!" It's almost Friday. Which means it's almost the weekend. Which means it's almost Monday. Rats. :) jk.

You HAD to look that far ahead. Heh, heh, just kidding. Thanks for following my blog, Sarah!
Loved the links; thanks for posting them!
Oh, those articles were fantastic! The villain ones had me laughing, and the one about cliched beauty was a wonderful reminder. Can't count how many times I've described someone's eyes as "piercing," "smoldering," or "icy". Ouch!
So neat that you are reading Starflower aloud to your family. I actually reread that one not too long ago. It's phenomenal! Think I've read it at least four times now. I always find myself returning to it, and I love the beginning where she falls asleep by the river and the Hound approaches and kisses her. That's such beautiful writing. Have a fantastic weekend.
Thanks for these!
Ooooooo! Video games!! What games do you play?
Christa: Heh, heh, our favorites are the Lego games, including the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings versions. Star Wars: Battlefront and Lord of the Rings: Conquest are others we enjoy. :)
My brothers and I used to play the Lego Star Wars game before we sold it. I bought a copy of Battlefront 2 a while back(still haven't gotten around to playing it yet). We might have Conquest still, but I'm not sure.
